Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Abu Bakr Mahmoud emphasized the enthusiasm of Egyptian companies to actively participate in major projects within Zambia’s infrastructure, construction, and energy sectors. This engaging dialogue took place during a meeting with Hope Situmbeko, the Permanent Secretary Administration in Zambia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, at State House in Lusaka.
The discussions centered on enhancing bilateral cooperation across political, economic, and investment areas, especially given both countries' membership in the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA). Mahmoud also reiterated Egypt's commitment to sharing expertise and fostering the development of Zambian professionals, aiming to strengthen collaboration and coordination among African nations.
